Julia + David | 04.27.19 | Apple Creek
This wedding will have more photos than some posts, because this wedding is super special to me, since David is my older brother. We were all thrilled when, after years of happy bachelorhood, he began dating one of Becky’s best friends. After three short months, he popped the big question, knowing he had finally found THE ONE. Of course I wanted to do the flowers! Julia’s bouquet was made with Playblanca roses, Quicksand roses, blue thistles, delicate sweet peas, Majolica spray roses, ranunculus, bleached ruscus, and gardenia greens. Thanks, David + Julia for trusting Petal + Stem for your wedding flowers! Of course, we might have been offended if you…

Haillie + Bracy | 03.02.19
What a sweet couple Haillie and Bracy are! They got married in my home stomping grounds of Sugarcreek. Haillie has such an elegant + simple style about her and her wedding florals reflected that. Some of you may recognize the gorgeous bride, Haillie, as a barista from a coffee shop in the community. When she contacted me for her late-winter wedding florals she requested that everything be kept simple. Florists will not usually fight you on this request! 🙂 She chose lavender, purple, and white for her flowers and requested lavender and lilacs. Some other elements included ranunculus, eucalyptus, anemone, peonies, and olive greens. I don’t know if I’ve ever…

Loretta + Zach | 8.4.18
This beautiful couple’s boho-chic wedding took place on a very warm August afternoon. I remember, mostly because an arch installation with the sun beating down on you in 90% humidity is pretty memorable. Loretta and Zach chose a beautifully restored barn as the venue and Loretta’s impeccable taste was evident throughout the entire wedding. Every little detail was adorable! The reception featured succulents and cacti, a bathtub seating chart, a fresh peach at each plate, and pie for dessert! I’m pretty sure my jaw dropped when I saw all the reception details inside the barn! As brides go, Loretta was so sweet to work with, and made our job easy!…

Camille + Dylan | 10.13.18 | The Barn at Sugarcreek
We loved this classic palette of burgundy, mauve, and white for a gorgeous bride on her chilly-but-beautiful fall wedding day! Her bouquet featured Amnesia roses, anemone, ranunculus, succulents, dahlias, and eucalyptus. Their ceremony small and sweet, with members of their close family. The weather might have been COLD but the rustic barn reception warmed everyone up afterward. Congratulations, Camille + Dylan–hope you two can grow old together and look back with fond memories of your special day! Photos by Lindsay Anne Photography

Brittany + Nick | 09.29.18
Isn’t this September bride completely stunning? Brittany’s bouquet featured white, purple, and lavender and included local dahlias, roses, astrantia, ranunculus, and eucalyptus. The varying shades of the bridesmaids’ dresses paired beautifully with the bouquets! This day was what perfect fall weather looks like! Congrats, Brittany + Nick! We wish you the very best! Brianna + Abe | 09.22.18
Brianna and Abraham got married on a cloudy + beautiful late September day. Her white and green bouquet featured some of her favorite flowers: garden roses, ranunculus, carnations, baby’s breath, and mums. (And we’re partial to that stunning setting featuring our family farm’s pond! Another side note: I [Charity] worked for Brianna’s dad for several years as a graphic designer and distinctly remember the day Brianna was born! So designing her wedding flowers seemed like coming full circle somehow.) The wedding was a beautiful celebration of two souls very much in love. We wish them many happy years of wedded bliss! Ellen + Alex | 06.23.18 | Mohican Gardens
What a privilege it was to work with this sweet June bride! Her purple and white bouquet featured peonies, anemone, roses, scabiosa, ranunculus, curly willow, and eucalyptus. This couple had one of the largest bridal parties we’ve designed for but you can tell they had a great time celebrating together. The reception was held in a greenhouse–so cool! Ellen and Alex, we wish you the very best in marriage and life! Photos by Madison Braun Photography

Martha + Adam | 05.08.18
Martha and Adam got married on a warm, cloudy spring day in May featuring an outdoor reception under a clear tent. Their day was beautiful from start to finish and it was pretty evident they are head-over-heels for each other. Martha chose a palette of blues and burgundy, opting for lots of greens in her bouquets and reception decor. As a bride goes, she was incredibly easy to work with, has great taste, and allowed us plenty of creative freedom–every florist’s dream! Stunning photos by Beaute Photography. Katrina + Rylan | 01.26.18
We were honored to work with this couple for our first wedding of 2018. Katrina is Charity’s niece by marriage and she fell in love with a young man from Iowa after meeting him at a youth camp. She chose green and silver as her colors and used fresh-clipped pine and pinecones throughout the decor, setting the tone for a beautiful winter wedding. The weather was unseasonably warm for January, hitting a high of 50° by the time the music began! Katrina was absolutely stunning! Her bouquet featured peonies, ranunculus, spray roses, privet berry, eucalyptus, juniper, and small pinecones. Congratulations Katrina and Rylan!
