Summer Wedding

Angie + Cory | 07.09.22
Here are some shots from Angela + Cory’s summer wedding! What a stunning couple these two made and their day was beautiful! Clear skies and sunshine + love and laughter = the best day! I love the rooftop pics—how cool are those? They said their vows at the gorgeous Old Stone Chapel with a reception following at Double Tree by Hilton, just around the corner. Angie’s flowers were all white and included roses, baby’s breath, sweet peas, scabiosa, lisianthus, dahlias, stock, and hydrangeas. Congratulations to the happy couple! Kara + Clayton | 08.28.21
What a perfect August day for this adorable couple to tie the knot—a little warm, maybe, but beautiful nonetheless! Kara’s bouquet featured garden roses, blush roses, local dahlias, lisianthus, waxflower, leucadendron, ferns, and eucalyptus, finished with a dusty blue ribbon to tie in with the bridesmaids’ dresses. It was a privilege to work with this sweet bride and her equally sweet mom who arranged for these bouquets to be picked up the morning of the wedding to save me the drive! Congratulations to the happy couple—may all your dreams come true in this new life together! Photos by Sarah Brown Photography

Jodi + Todd | 08.21.21
You know when two people are just *perfect* for each other? That’s the case with this stunning couple, and their wedding day was proof that dreams do come true! What a gorgeous bride Jodi was, and the timeless dress she chose truly was made for her! The bride’s bouquet included Quicksand blush roses, phalaenopsis orchids, rice flower, spray roses, and bleached ruscus. (The blush rose shortage decided to affect me that very week so I was extra thankful for the local flower farmers who provided local blooms to help fill in the gaps! It truly takes a village!) Congratulations, you two, and thanks for trusting us with your wedding florals!…

Catherine + Austin | 08.14.21
Catherine + Austin met at work and eventually their friendship turned into something more! Catherine was such a sweet + beautiful bride to work with. I was able to use lots of local flowers in soft summery colors, mixed with eucalyptus and garden roses—seasonal flowers are truly the way to go if possible! Their day was just the weather you hope for when planning an August wedding. Congratulations, Catherine + Austin! Your day was lovely and I hope you will look back on it as the perfect start to a long + wonderful marriage. Photos by Small Moments Photography

Kammi + Tyler | 07.10.21
What’s better than doing flowers for a couple dear to your heart? This is my niece, Kammi, and what a gorgeous bride she was! Anyone who knows her will tell you she’s beautiful inside and out. She gave me a lot of creative freedom with the flowers and any florist loves that! I don’t always get to attend the weddings I do flowers for, so it’s always a treat to take it all in. The weather went from gloriously sunny to overcast with a forecast of possible rain at exactly the time the ceremony was supposed to start. The venue started handing out umbrellas and the wedding started as planned…

Ashley + David | 6.19.21
All the heart eyes for this sweet couple and their lovely wedding! Who doesn’t love an old red Volkswagen van in the background of their pics? So cute! Ashley chose a color palette of white, tan, orange, and peach with dried elements and pampas grass for a boho vibe. Thanks, Ashley + David for trusting us with your wedding florals and a huge congratulations on your marriage! Hope it’s all your dreams come true! Photos by Shbeeb Weddings

Kristin + Noah | 06.12.21
“I would rather share one lifetime with you than face all the ages of this world alone.” —J.R.R. Tolkien Kristin + Noah said their vows and joined their hearts on a sunny June afternoon in an outdoor wedding surrounded by all their favorite people. Don’t they make a stunning couple? Kristin’s bouquet included peonies, blush roses, garden roses, ranunculus, anemone, thistles, eucalyptus, magnolia greens, and dried grass plumes. Congratulations to the newlyweds—we wish you so much happiness + love in your life together! Photos by Small Moments Photography

Heather + Randall | 06.05.21
This adorable couple got married in the prettiest grove of trees on a [really] warm June day and I absolutely loved her whimsical boho style—so many cute touches everywhere! Her bouquet had peonies, Toffee and Mother of Pearl roses, ranunculus, astilbe, bunny tails, eucalyptus, olive, and grevillea. There were big bunches of fluffy pampas grass everywhere and florals on the tree they said their vows in front of. Heather and Randall’s day was full of so much beauty, joyful anticipation, and worship. They waited a long time to get married, after a long-distance relationship while living on opposite sides of the globe. How awesome to be included in their celebration…

Heather + Greg | 08.08.20 | Rivercrest Farm
This wedding took place on a warm August day and @rivercrestfarm was the perfect setting for Heather and Greg’s nuptials. They are clearly head over heels for each other and are the sweetest couple! Heather chose a soft color palette of blush, peach, and white with summer flowers that included lisianthus, dahlias, anemones, asters, and garden roses. Thanks Heather, for being a dream to work with. Here’s to you and Greg and your happy-ever-after! Photos by Balsam & Blush Photography

Katie + Gabe | 07.20.19 | Harvest Barn
What a beautiful bride Katie was! Her bouquet included garden roses, white roses, anemone, spray roses, ranunculus, astilbe, eucalyptus, and eryngium thistles. Like most weddings in July, it was around 90 degrees and sunny. The happy couple got married at their family church, then took the celebration to the rustic Harvest Barn for the reception. Congrats, Katie and Gabe! We wish you a lifetime of happiness together! Photos by Genevieve Nisly Photo
