Julia + David | 04.27.19 | Apple Creek

This wedding will have more photos than some posts, because this wedding is super special to me, since David is my older brother. We were all thrilled when, after years of happy bachelorhood, he began dating one of Becky’s best friends. After three short months, he popped the big question, knowing he had finally found THE ONE. Of course I wanted to do the flowers! Julia’s bouquet was made with Playblanca roses, Quicksand roses, blue thistles, delicate sweet peas, Majolica spray roses, ranunculus, bleached ruscus, and gardenia greens.

Boutonnières made with spray roses, bleached ruscus, eucalyptus seeds, and Italian ruscus.
Isn’t Julia gorgeous?
Couple goals right here!
Their wedding day was beautiful, but with a cold, brisk April wind! These long sleeves were a great idea!
The cutest mini bride + groom!
David and my younger brother, Matt.
The bride with my sister, Becky, who is a big part of Petal + Stem!
My brother-in-law and brother helping the bride laugh off some pre-wedding jitters.
My whole family (the baby bumps are my sweet nieces arriving soon), and Yours Truly on the right with my little family. And yes, we were very cold!
Julia let me decide on the arch style and I had the groom make an asymmetrical arch for the ceremony.
Italian ruscus and candles are simply elegant for a reception.

Thanks, David + Julia for trusting Petal + Stem for your wedding flowers! Of course, we might have been offended if you asked anyone else. 🙂 We wish you the best marriage and are so glad you ended up together–just like everyone had secretly hoped!
