Larissa + Christian | 9.30.22

Another wedding that will always be special for me to have taken part in…my beautiful cousin got married back at The Pond where we have all spent so much time as an extended family! It was a perfect day, maybe a little chilly for September, but we’ll take the clear skies and sunshine they had any day! They said their vows in the little “Garden of Eden” grove surrounded by trees and I know that was special to my grandpa who made it his duty to patrol the land with the golf cart (and probably several grandkids) in his glory days.

Larissa let me have plenty of creative freedom with the flowers and details–which is all any florist could ask for! Since it was prime dahlia season, of course we were going to use dahlias! Other flowers included roses, lisianthus, spray roses, stock, and some local goodies like salvia and cosmos, plus some of my carefully hoarded jasmine vine. The reception featured footed centerpieces, as well as bud vases and candles. Larissa gave me ideas on what she liked but let me have creative freedom with the flowers and details–which is all any florist could ask for!
