Regina + Andrew | 11.23.19 | Encore Hall
I loved working with Gina from the first phone call where she used all of her charm to convince me to take on a wedding the weekend before Thanksgiving. She let me worry about the nitty gritty details, as long as there was plenty of greens and white flowers! She also guessed me to be about 18 when we met, so she will always be one of my favorites! Their day turned out beautiful—even if it was super cold and windy for the pics! Her bouquet featured garden roses, ranunculus, freesia, lisianthus, anemones, eucalyptus, nagi, ferns, and gardenia greens. Congratulations, Gina + Andrew! I wish you both the very best…

Alexis + Philip | 10.19.19 | Malabar Farm
Alexis and Philip were the sweetest couple to work with and actually were the first where the groom-to-be attended the floral consultation. They chose a classic fall palette for their October 19 wedding and thankfully, the frost held off long enough to grant us one more round of delicious dahlias to use! Alexis asked for acorns to be used in the boutonnieres and bouquets and they were such a cute and unique element! Fun fact: due to a family obligation of mine on the day of the wedding, the bride’s sister-in-law Alyssa (@eliotandcompany) picked up the flowers AND did the arch herself (plus many other decor details)! I just gave…

Renita + Koby | 09.14.19 | Doughty Creek
Renita and Koby had a lovely outdoor wedding with boho vibes and the fluffiest pampas grass. I loved her boho-chic style and her decor was perfect. Renita chose a palette of blues and blush with pops of burgundy. Her flowers included dahlias, Quicksand roses, spray roses, anemones, rice flower, sweet Annie, and eucalyptus. What an adorable wedding and equally adorable couple! Thanks for choosing Petal + Stem for your wedding florals! We hope your happily-ever-after is everything you could’ve hoped for and more! Cassidy + Zachary | 09.08.19 | The Tudor House
If you get married, get married like Cass + Zach did: by a lake on a warm, cloudy September day, in a small, intimate wedding with close friends and family, complete with a personal letter for each guest by their plate, a soft pretzel bar, Starbucks coffee on tap, and a boat sendoff. They are literally the most authentic, joyful, intentional couple ever, and that was exactly what their wedding was. I may have shed a tear or two just scrolling through their wedding photos—you can just feel allll the emotions of their day! Cassidy was the third and final Widder sister to hire Petal + Stem for wedding florals…

Katie + Gabe | 07.20.19 | Harvest Barn
What a beautiful bride Katie was! Her bouquet included garden roses, white roses, anemone, spray roses, ranunculus, astilbe, eucalyptus, and eryngium thistles. Like most weddings in July, it was around 90 degrees and sunny. The happy couple got married at their family church, then took the celebration to the rustic Harvest Barn for the reception. Congrats, Katie and Gabe! We wish you a lifetime of happiness together! Photos by Genevieve Nisly Photo

Regina + Marc | 06.08.19 | Encore Hall
It was a perfect early summer day for Regina and Marc to celebrate their nuptials. It’s always a pleasure to set up at Encore Hall, a truly beautiful local venue! Regina’s garden style bouquet reflected the navy + blush + sage green palette and featured Quicksand roses, lush white peonies, ranunculus, Playablanca roses, Majolica spray roses, blue thistles, eleagnus, and eucalyptus. We wish this sweet couple a lifetime of happiness together!

Julia + David | 04.27.19 | Apple Creek
This wedding will have more photos than some posts, because this wedding is super special to me, since David is my older brother. We were all thrilled when, after years of happy bachelorhood, he began dating one of Becky’s best friends. After three short months, he popped the big question, knowing he had finally found THE ONE. Of course I wanted to do the flowers! Julia’s bouquet was made with Playblanca roses, Quicksand roses, blue thistles, delicate sweet peas, Majolica spray roses, ranunculus, bleached ruscus, and gardenia greens. Thanks, David + Julia for trusting Petal + Stem for your wedding flowers! Of course, we might have been offended if you…

Haillie + Bracy | 03.02.19
What a sweet couple Haillie and Bracy are! They got married in my home stomping grounds of Sugarcreek. Haillie has such an elegant + simple style about her and her wedding florals reflected that. Some of you may recognize the gorgeous bride, Haillie, as a barista from a coffee shop in the community. When she contacted me for her late-winter wedding florals she requested that everything be kept simple. Florists will not usually fight you on this request! 🙂 She chose lavender, purple, and white for her flowers and requested lavender and lilacs. Some other elements included ranunculus, eucalyptus, anemone, peonies, and olive greens. I don’t know if I’ve ever…

Camille + Dylan | 10.13.18 | The Barn at Sugarcreek
We loved this classic palette of burgundy, mauve, and white for a gorgeous bride on her chilly-but-beautiful fall wedding day! Her bouquet featured Amnesia roses, anemone, ranunculus, succulents, dahlias, and eucalyptus. Their ceremony small and sweet, with members of their close family. The weather might have been COLD but the rustic barn reception warmed everyone up afterward. Congratulations, Camille + Dylan–hope you two can grow old together and look back with fond memories of your special day! Photos by Lindsay Anne Photography

Brittany + Nick | 09.29.18
Isn’t this September bride completely stunning? Brittany’s bouquet featured white, purple, and lavender and included local dahlias, roses, astrantia, ranunculus, and eucalyptus. The varying shades of the bridesmaids’ dresses paired beautifully with the bouquets! This day was what perfect fall weather looks like! Congrats, Brittany + Nick! We wish you the very best!
