Susie + Kendall | 10.03.20

Susie + Kendall got married in my hometown on a beautiful October day. She chose green flowers with touches of baby’s breath for her bouquet, and asked to add white and yellow flowers in the bridesmaids’ bouquets. It was the first time I ordered green roses and the ones my rep sent me were ruffly and beautiful! Other elements in the bouquets included white roses, spray roses, ranunculus, trick dianthus, hypericum berries, ruscus, and––a fall favorite––mums. I almost never make bridal bouquets in this classic, round shape but I was asked to make this shape for two weddings in a two-week span and it was a great opportunity to do something different and expand my skill set. I am always looking for ways to do what my brides want––each request is important to me! Susie’s family used to attend my church when she was a little girl, so it was special to me that she reached out and asked me to do her florals. Indeed, time flies, and she sure made a gorgeous bride!
